On Donuts and Biscuits: Donut Holes

“Donut Holes” was my 1st video project with ODB crew and 2nd short film. In Donut holes I teamed up with my best friend Niko Nakamura and filmed in Reno, Tahoe, Winnemucca and Salt Lake City. Kieth Rutherford teamed up with Lou Macias and filmed all over the western united states as well. Together with the editing talents of Tilghman Wendel we made “Donut Holes”. We only showed this movie at a handful of events and distributed a free physical copy at a few select snowboard shops. Later Lou and Niko used their clips for other projects but this first collaboration between us laid the groundwork for us to make “Glazed” later on.

After his death in 2024 we finally posted a copy of this early project online for people to enjoy the work and creativity of my dear friend, Niko Nakamura.
