On Donuts and Biscuits: GLAZED

Glazed was my second movie I filmed with ODB crew and and my third and final street snowboard video project. We drove to Calgary from Reno and back in my little Ford Escape pulling a trailer overloaded with equipment with a 14 gallon tank, getting less than 10MPG, we had to empty the lighting kit generator gas tanks on multiple occasions just to get across the barren and sparse landscape of Montana and Idaho.

We snuck five guys into single occupancy grimey hotel rooms, ate nothing but budget garbage fast food, froze our asses off, had multiple run in’s with security and law enforcement and managed to come away with a stack of clips that I’m still proud of to this day.

Filming and producing Glazed was one of the most important opportunities in my life to learn emotional leadership, creative teamwork and how to keep spirits high despite less than ideal circumstances and budgets.

When Glazed was finished. I felt a sense of completion with filming snowboarding. Like it had taught me what I needed to learn and I could benefit myself and others more by focusing on new projects.
